TravelPerk (Perk) alternatives for team offsites

Done-for-you team offsites with one itemized price per person and a planner on site. Free proposal in 48 hours.

Offsiteio created this guide and ranks itself first, which you should factor in. Facts about other providers are drawn from their own sites, each linked and checked during October 2026. If something's out of date, let us know.

TravelPerk now goes by Perk; its old domain redirects to perk.com, where it describes a platform for travel and spend with an Events module included on every plan (perk.com/pricing, checked Oct 2026). Teams usually look for alternatives in one of two situations: they want a different travel platform, or they've realized a team offsite needs more planning than software provides. Below are both kinds of option, with a done-for-you planner first.

1. Offsiteio: skip the software entirely

Perk is good at getting people and bookings into one system. What it doesn't do is plan your offsite for you. That's all we do. A short brief (headcount, dates, goals, a few places you'd consider) gets you a free proposal in 48 hours, with two or three destinations and one per-person price each, itemized so finance sees every component. You're under no obligation.

When you're ready, our planners scout, negotiate, book and coordinate: hotel, meeting rooms, meals, activities and transfers. One of our team is with you on site for the full trip. Typical trips start around $1,450 per person; real ones have reached about $2,402. Flights stay separate, so your travel team can still book them under policy. Our Google rating is 5.0 across 17 reviews. Compare in detail on Offsiteio vs TravelPerk.

2. Navan Events

Navan is Perk's most direct competitor in travel and expense, and its Events product now runs on BoomPop's AI Event Agent after Navan acquired BoomPop in September 2026 (Navan press release, checked Oct 2026). Navan's events page covers venue sourcing, invites, room blocks, budgets and approvals, and mentions event leads on the ground for managed events (navan.com/events, checked Oct 2026).

3. Engine

Engine is a free business travel platform with a groups service: a trip manager collects hotel group rates, you compare them, and Engine books and manages the block. It says it's free for coordinators, with no membership fees (engine.com/groups, checked Oct 2026). A good fit if the hotel is your bottleneck and subscription fees are a sticking point.

4. Groups360

If you only want rooms and a meeting space, Groups360's GroupSync lets you book them instantly online for groups needing 10+ rooms, without an RFP (groups360.com, checked Oct 2026).

5. Tagvenue

For offsites that happen in your own city, Tagvenue's marketplace of 22K+ venues may be enough. It states that booking is "100% free for users" with no booking or service fees (Tagvenue, checked Oct 2026).

Picking the right kind of alternative

Switching from Perk to another platform makes sense when the issue is the travel tool itself: coverage, price, integrations. It won't change who does the offsite planning. If that person is you, on top of a full-time role, a done-for-you planner is the more meaningful switch. Our business group travel guide explains where software helps and where people still do the work.

TravelPerk alternatives FAQs

What is the closest alternative to TravelPerk?

Navan is the most similar, since it also combines business travel, expense and an events product (checked Oct 2026).

Is there a free alternative to Perk for group hotel bookings?

Engine and Groups360 both describe their group hotel booking as free for organizers (checked Oct 2026).

Which alternative actually plans the offsite?

A done-for-you planner. Offsiteio scouts destinations, books every vendor and sends someone on site for the trip.

Can we keep Perk and still use a planner?

Yes. Many teams keep air in their travel platform and hand the ground program to a planner. Offsiteio already quotes flights separately.
