Company retreats, planned end to end
Done-for-you team offsites with one itemized price per person and a planner on site. Free proposal in 48 hours.
A company retreat brings everyone together: engineers who've only met on video, the sales team that's always on the road, and the new hires who joined last quarter. Done well, it's the moment people remember when they explain why they like working at your company. Done badly, it's a very expensive conference with worse coffee. Offsiteio plans company retreats end to end, so the person organizing it can enjoy it too.
What a company retreat is for
Most companies hold an all-company retreat for some mix of these four reasons. Naming yours early makes every later decision easier.
- Connection: building relationships that make remote and hybrid work feel human.
- Alignment: making sure everyone hears the same plan for the year from the people who wrote it.
- Celebration: marking a funding round, a launch or a strong year.
- Onboarding: giving new people a fast track into the culture.
How we plan a company retreat
- You share the brief. Headcount, rough dates, budget comfort zone, goals and any must-haves (a hackathon, an awards dinner, an accessible venue).
- We send a free proposal within 48 hours. It includes a destination recommendation, a hotel with meeting space, a draft agenda, and one per-person price that itemizes lodging, meals, meeting space, activities, transfers and coordination.
- You tweak it. Swap a hotel, add a night, change the marquee activity. You'll see the per-person effect each time.
- We book and manage everything. Contracts, rooming lists, dietary needs, transfers and run-of-show.
- We run it on site. Our team is on the ground while the retreat happens, handling the late check-in, the dinner that's running long and everything else.
A company retreat agenda that works
For groups of 20 to 100, a three-night format fits most calendars:
- Arrival day: flights land through the afternoon, then a relaxed welcome reception so people can meet before any content.
- Day two: an all-hands morning (company story, roadmap, Q&A), team breakouts after lunch, and a big shared activity in the late afternoon.
- Day three: a lighter morning (demos, a hackathon showcase or cross-team workshops), a free afternoon, and the celebration dinner.
- Departure day: breakfast and flights home.
Leave real free time. The unscheduled conversations by the pool are often where the most valuable connections happen.

Company retreat activities that bring teams together
- Shared meals: long tables, mixed seating and a menu that suits every dietary need.
- Competitive fun: axe throwing, bowling or a scavenger hunt with cross-team squads.
- Local culture: a food walk in Little Havana, a BBQ night on Rainey Street, a tapas crawl in Barcelona.
- Something to build: a hackathon, a design sprint or a charity project.
- One wow moment: A 65-person software company's Miami offsite with us paired a yacht dinner cruise with axe throwing, all meals and a private meeting room.

Coinbase, Ketch, Voltage Park, Grow Therapy, Converge, Moxie, Stacklok, Check21, Nabr and Obligo have all used Offsiteio for their time together. After a Barcelona retreat, Gabby, a Startup Event Manager, told us: "Can't wait to book our next trip!"

Company retreat FAQs
How far in advance should we plan a company retreat?
Start as early as possible, especially for groups above 50 or peak-season dates. Early planning gives you more hotel choices and better room-block terms.
How long should a company retreat be?
Three nights suits most teams: an arrival evening, two full days, and a departure morning. Shorter trips work for drive-to destinations.
What group sizes do you plan for?
We plan for groups from 10 people up. Larger retreats may span neighboring hotels or need a resort with a big meeting space.
How much does a company retreat cost per person?
Destination packages start from $1,100 per person, and full programs we've planned have run $1,450 to $2,402 per person. Flights are always quoted separately.
Can you handle dietary needs and accessibility?
Yes. We collect dietary and accessibility requirements with the rooming list and confirm them with every hotel and restaurant before the trip.
