Best time for a Riviera Maya offsite

December through April is the dry season, with sunny days and lower humidity. It's also peak season, with higher rates around the holidays and spring break. May and November can be good value. The Atlantic hurricane season runs June to November. Seaweed (sargassum) can also reach the beaches, mostly in the warmer months, so we check recent conditions before recommending dates.
