Nowadays is the closest software alternative. It describes itself as AI-native, with AI that emails and calls venues, gathers proposals and compares them, along with registration pages and budget tracking. Its free Basic tier covers one city search; the Explorer plan adds more searches and an account manager for a 10% service charge (nowadays.ai/pricing, checked Oct 2026).

Best for: in-house event or workplace teams that run several offsites a year.

4. Offsiter

Offsiter sells ready-made retreat packages you can customize and book, pitched as planning "without RFPs, planners, or endless emails." 5. RetreatsAndVenues

RetreatsAndVenues has a database of 50,000+ retreat venues, a tool for sending RFPs in bulk and comparing responses, and free advisors who can help with budgeting, sourcing and contracts. It says its services are free, with no deposit or subscription fees (retreatsandvenues.com, checked Oct 2026).

Best for: organizers who want maximum venue choice without paying a platform.

6. Cvent Supplier Network
