Navan Events alternatives for planning a team offsite
Done-for-you team offsites with one itemized price per person and a planner on site. Free proposal in 48 hours.
Disclosure: this list is written by Offsiteio, and we put ourselves first. Everything said about other companies comes from their own websites, with links, as we found them in October 2026. If a detail has moved on, email us and we'll update the page.
Navan Events folds offsite and event planning into a corporate travel and expense platform, and since September 2026 it includes BoomPop's technology and team (Navan press release, checked Oct 2026). That's a strong setup if your company already lives in Navan. If it doesn't, or if what you really want is for someone else to plan the trip, the options below are worth comparing. The main split is between tools you drive yourself and a team that plans it for you.
Why teams look beyond Navan Events
- You're not a Navan customer. Much of the value comes from sharing policy, approvals and reporting with Navan travel and expense.
- You need the planning done, not a tool to do it in. Navan's events page talks about AI venue sourcing and budget tracking, which still leaves someone on your side running the project.
- You want a price before a sales call. We didn't find published pricing for Navan Events (navan.com/pricing, checked Oct 2026).
Navan Events alternatives compared
1. Offsiteio: hand the whole offsite to a planning team
We're the opposite of a platform. There's no software to roll out and no account to create. You send a brief, and within 48 hours we send a free proposal with two or three destinations and a single per-person price for each, itemized by hotel, meeting space, meals, activities, transfers and coordination. Nothing is hidden and you aren't committed to anything.
If you go ahead, our team scouts and books everything, then travels with you: someone from Offsiteio is on site for the whole trip. Most trips start around $1,450 per person; recent ones have ranged up to about $2,402. Flights are priced on their own line. We're rated 5.0 on Google from 17 reviews. 2. Perk (formerly TravelPerk)
If you want the same idea as Navan, travel and events in one platform, Perk is the obvious peer. Its pricing page lists a travel-only Starter plan at "$0 /month" with "+5% /booking", and says Perk Events access is on every plan (perk.com/pricing, checked Oct 2026). Perk Events searches venues and negotiates rates with AI, and a group bookings service covers trips of 9+ people (perk.com/platform/events, checked Oct 2026).
3. Engine
Engine is narrower: it focuses on the hotel. Its groups page says a group booking "generally starts at 10 or more rooms," that it's "completely free for group coordinators," and that groups "can save up to 22% compared to public rates" (engine.com/groups, checked Oct 2026). You'd still plan meals, activities and the agenda yourself.
4. Groups360
Groups360's GroupSync lets you book hotel room blocks and meeting space online without an RFP, for groups needing 10+ rooms, across properties in 225 countries and territories (groups360.com, checked Oct 2026). It suits a planner who already knows the city and just wants the block secured quickly.
5. Peerspace
Not every offsite needs a hotel. For a one-day strategy session in your own city, Peerspace rents spaces by the hour; its San Francisco offsite listings average $148 per hour, per the page (Peerspace SF offsite spaces, checked Oct 2026).
How to choose
Start with one question: who will do the work? If you have an ops person with time and your company wants everything in one travel system, a platform such as Navan or Perk is efficient. If the offsite is a single local day, a venue marketplace may be all you need. If you're the Chief of Staff or EA who already has a full-time job, a done-for-you planner gives you the hours back. Our planner vs DIY comparison walks through that trade-off honestly.
