Geography is Dubai's quiet advantage. Teams in London, Bangalore, Nairobi and Riyadh can all reach it in about eight hours or less, and the airport has nonstop links to a long list of US cities. For a distributed company spread across time zones, few cities are as fair a meeting point.

The city is also designed for groups. Hotels are modern, service standards are high, and logistics like transfers, private dining and large-group activities are routine. Your team can go from a morning strategy session to the observation deck of the world's tallest building to dinner under the stars in the desert, all in one day.

When to plan a Dubai offsite

November through March is the clear choice, with warm, dry days and pleasant evenings. From May to September, daytime heat is extreme and outdoor activities have to move to early morning or night. Ramadan dates shift each year, and some restaurant hours and daytime customs change during that month, so we check your dates against the calendar. Note that the UAE weekend is Saturday and Sunday.

Sample 3-day Dubai offsite itinerary

Day 1: Arrive and look up

• Arrivals at Dubai International, about 15 minutes from the hotel, and check-in at Pullman Dubai Downtown
• Rest and pool time to recover from the flight
• Evening at the Burj Khalifa observation deck, followed by dinner overlooking the Dubai Fountain

Day 2: Work, then the desert

• Morning working sessions at the hotel or at AstroLabs, a coworking space in Jumeirah Lakes Towers
• Afternoon desert safari: dune driving, camel rides and sunset over the sand

It's a drive across town, so many teams prefer to use the hotel's own meeting rooms, which we can quote instead.
