The best venue sourcing platforms in 2026

Done-for-you team offsites with one itemized price per person and a planner on site. Free proposal in 48 hours.

We're Offsiteio, we wrote this, and we listed ourselves first because some buyers would rather not source venues at all. For each platform we read its own site in October 2026 and linked the page. Tell us if anything has changed.

Venue sourcing platforms let you search, send requests and compare offers. They're fast and usually free to planners, because venues pay. The catch is that you still do the comparing, negotiating and everything after the contract. If you'd rather get two or three vetted options with one itemized per-person price for the whole offsite, Offsiteio does the sourcing for you.

If you're sourcing yourself: Cvent Supplier Network is the standard for hotel and conference RFPs, Peerspace and Tagvenue cover unique spaces by the hour or day, Spacebase is strong in Europe, Venue Retreat focuses on retreat estates, and HotelPlanner handles group room blocks.

How we chose these platforms

  • Inventory type: hotels and conference venues, hourly spaces, or retreat properties.
  • Cost to the planner: as stated on the platform's own site.
  • Geography: where the inventory is concentrated.
  • Help available: whether a human will source for you.

1. Offsiteio

Before you send venue requests

  • Fix dates, headcount and room count first; venues quote faster with firm numbers.
  • Ask for food and beverage minimums and attrition terms in writing.
  • Compare total cost per person, not just the room rate.

Browse ideas on our corporate retreat venues page, or skip the RFPs: get 2–3 sourced options with one per-person price.

Venue sourcing platform FAQs

Are venue sourcing platforms free?

Most are free to planners because venues pay commission or listing fees. Cvent Supplier Network, Tagvenue and Venue Retreat all say they don't charge planners.

What's the difference between a venue marketplace and an RFP tool?

A marketplace lets you book listed spaces directly. An RFP tool sends your requirements to venues so they can respond with proposals.

Can a venue platform plan the whole offsite?

Usually not. Most stop at the venue. A planner like Offsiteio also handles meals, activities, transfers and on-site support.

How many venues should we compare?

Two or three strong options with full pricing is usually enough to decide.
