Corporate retreat locations in Kenya
Done-for-you team offsites with one itemized price per person and 24/7 remote support. Free proposal in days.
Kenya is the classic safari country, and a team offsite here pairs morning game drives with afternoon sessions in a lodge that looks out over open savanna. Nairobi is East Africa's business hub with a growing tech scene, and the Indian Ocean coast adds white beaches and Swahili history. It suits reward trips, leadership retreats and companies with teams across Africa.
Here are seven corporate retreat locations in Kenya, each with the group it suits, the venue type, the season and access. Every travel time is approximate.

Best time for a corporate retreat in Kenya
The long dry season from about June to October is the prime window for safaris, with the wildebeest migration usually in the Mara from July to October. January and February are also dry and warm. The long rains in April and May make some roads and camps difficult, and some lodges close; the short rains around November are lighter. The coast is hot and humid in its peak months, and the southern monsoon makes the sea rougher around June.
Choosing a Kenyan location by goal
For a reward trip, a Mara or Amboseli safari is the headline. Leadership teams that want depth and privacy often prefer a Laikipia conservancy, where lodges can be booked for exclusive use. Larger companies can meet in Nairobi or at Lake Naivasha and send a smaller group on safari. A three-part trip, city to safari to beach, fits well into a week.
Budget and planning notes
Safari camps carry the biggest costs, since rates usually include meals and game drives, and conservancy and park fees add up per person per day. Light-aircraft flights have tight luggage limits, often soft bags only. Nairobi hotels and Naivasha resorts are more moderate. Vaccinations and malaria advice should be checked with a travel clinic, and you should check current government travel advice for every region on the itinerary. Offsiteio trips start from about $999 per person depending on destination, with flights quoted separately. Kenya corporate retreat FAQs
What is the best place in Kenya for a company retreat?
Most teams combine Nairobi or Lake Naivasha for work sessions with two or three nights in the Maasai Mara. Laikipia suits smaller groups that want privacy.
When is the best time for a Kenya safari offsite?
June to October, with the migration usually in the Mara from July. January and February are a good second window.
Can a large team go on safari together?
Camps are small, so larger groups typically split across several nearby camps and meet for shared dinners or bush breakfasts, or base in a bigger lodge.
What entry and health preparation is needed?
Visitors generally need an electronic travel authorization or visa before arrival, and some vaccines may be required or advised. Check current entry rules and talk to a travel clinic early.
